Texas Governor Greg Abbott delivered a magnificent speech the day after the horrific shooting that claimed the life of at 20 people, most elementary school-aged kids.
When the shooting first took place Abbott said in a written statement, “Texans across the state are grieving for the victims of this senseless crime and for the community of Uvalde. Cecilia and I mourn this horrific loss and we urge all Texans to come together to show our unwavering support to all who are suffering.”

Unlike President Biden who mocked 2nd Amendment supporters, Abbott asked for calm and healing asking both sides to set aside their differences.
“Every American has a responsibility … put aside personal agendas, think of somebody other than ourselves, think about the people who are hurt, and help those who have been hurt,” he said.

Meanwhile, Democrat gubernatorial candidate Beto O’Rourke decided to pull a political stunt and crashing the live press conference. Things got so heated that Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin called O’Rourke a “sick son of a b**tch” as O’Rourke makes a spectacle of himself.
O’Rourke was escorted out by law enforcement.
