One Oklahoma woman’s TikTok video went viral as well, but for the wrong reasons. While attending a church service, some mistakenly thought the woman had brought weed to the service. It turned out to be cilantro.
@alimamii23 They didn’t even let me explain! They automatically just accused me!! Not looking for people to feel bad for us just wanted to share! #Fyp
@alimamii23 Threatened to call the police just because I asked for the garnish back. I was so happy to go to church and then this happens to us! #Fyp #okc #church
We’re not sure who was more embarrassed by this viral TikTok sensation. Another TikToker triggered an obviously startling revelation. When the New Jersey woman took a DNA test, results revealed she had 50 siblings, all from the same sperm donor.

Ghosts were videoed removing dog collars, plus one TikToker recorded getting “spooked by specters at “haunted southern mansion”.
@shannyfantgsorry for the obnoxious barking at the beginning. watch my black dog. ghost takes her collar off in her crate. #fyp #ghost #dog #scary #wtf♬ original sound – Tara green

One big fan of professional wrestling recorded a rather unflattering video. Seems his bet to jump in the ring was ill-advised.

One star used TikTok to clear up a bad rumor. It went viral that Lizzo had killed someone while “stage diving” during a concert. She posted herself performing the odd trick to prove she was incapable of killing someone. That’s a bewildering way to prove one’s innocence.
@lizzo STOP THE
But this is TikTok, the world of the strange and bizarre. Other TikTok videos that went viral in 2021 included some extremely heroic acts. One teenager recorded herself fighting off a bear to protect her dogs. This TikTok video was actually recorded on a security camera.
@bakedlikepie My cousin Hailey yeeted a bear off her fence today and saved her dogs. How was your Memorial Day?! (WTF?!) #ohno #badass #brave #fight #bear
That didn’t negate the spectacular feat from going viral on TikTok. From dangerous sea slugs to ferocious bears, TikTok is never lost on vitriol. TikTokers seem enamored by the strangest things. Users seem unfazed by the thought of being spied on by a communist government.
TikTok’s bite-sized content and abundance of lip-sync videos and entertaining dance covers have turned it into a pop culture sensation. However, experts still caution that TikTok presents a serious security risk to the United States. It is based in communist China, nonetheless.
Nevertheless, the pop culture generation doesn’t seem to be affected by these warnings. Young people, and an ever-increasing number of adults, flock to the social media platform. TikTok continued to rise as a social media phenomenon in 2021, despite the serious security risk warnings.
