Joe Biden’s first year in office has been accented by one blunder after another. He has been an abject failure at every turn. His border policy has purposefully created a humanitarian catastrophe and national security crisis.
His botched withdrawal from Afghanistan made America look weak and cowardly on the international stage. It also cost 13 servicemen and women their lives. Americans are experiencing the worst inflation in 40 years.
Violent crime has skyrocketed across the nation. However, some believe Biden’s total failure on the policy front is going to be just the tip of the iceberg for his presidency. FOX News host Jason Chaffetz envisions a number of scandals are awaiting the Biden administration.
During a FOX News Sunday appearance, the former Utah Congressman predicted that a lot of scandal-like investigations will be happening during the next 12 months. “Look out, because they’re coming,” he said.
FOX News Sunday guest host Mike Emanuel orchestrated a series of questions to a three-member panel. The Washington Post’s Charles Lane and the Wall Street Journal’s Catherine Lucey joined Chaffetz on the panel.
Lucey felt like Biden’s ability to rectify his abysmal failures on the economy and the COVID-19 pandemic would be critical. The former Associated Press White House Correspondent also felt that questions about our children’s education would be worth seriously monitoring.
While Lane thought President Trump’s effect on the 2022 midterm election would be extremely important, he agreed with Chaffetz. Critical foreign policy decisions will dominate the news. Lane was a finalist for the 2009 Pulitzer Prize, and most notably a fiscal policy expert.
He thought, pending developments in the Ukraine, foreign policy could take center stage in 2022. However, Chaffetz stuck to his premise that scandals would arise during the next year. He strongly believes scandalous investigations will haunt the Biden administration.
Chaffetz said there were already many suspicious questions surrounding Biden’s cabinet appointments. U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan is being whispered as the next target of John Durham’s investigation into the Russia collusion hoax.
There is a clear need to dig into the $100 billion plus scammed from various pandemic relief efforts. Chaffetz, a FOX News contributor, said some scandals may come as a surprise to many. Moreover, he thinks that many serious investigations are already ongoing.
When Republicans retake control of Congress in November, it will be interesting to see how deeply Biden’s corruption is investigated. Someone needs to yank back the curtain and expose who’s pulling the strings at the White House. Certainly, it doesn’t appear to be Joe Biden.
