A wild dashcam caught video of a driver firing a gun wildly at a driver in a fit of road rage.
The incident occurred in Miami’s Interstate 95 in June of last year, but the video only emerged on Friday.
The video shows Eric Popper driving and singing when something catches his eye in his driver’s side mirror. It’s another vehicle.
“Oh my gosh,” he exclaims, when a car horn from behind ups the profanity to “oh f— off.”
According to an arrest report, Popper had cut off the other driver, who then started honking, tailgating and making hand gestures.
In the footage, Popper appears to brake check the driver behind, before reaching into the center console and pulling out a handgun, and waiting for the other driver to pass.
Take a look at this video of the incident because it is wild.

So what exactly was going on here? Why did this man feel like he needed to shoot at another car as it was driving by?
Here’s my thought on the matter:
This guy is going to jail.
He shot at another individual because he supposedly thought that he was shooting at him. I don’t believe this for a second. Why did the man get his gun out so early? He seems like he was wanting an excuse to shoot because while I do hear a sound that could have been interpreted as potentially being a shot from gun, he was already ready to shoot so it’s not as though he simply responded after being under threat.
If you look, right away after the driver starts tailgating him and honking his horn, he starts going for his firearm. I think that this is one guy who doesn’t need to own a firearm. He was practically shooting with his eyes closed.
