We’ve now surpassed the one-year mark from the day that the incident at the Capitol took place.
If someone were to ask me if it was a protest or a riot, I would honestly say it was both, but not in the same sense.
The purpose of many people who were protesting at the Capitol Building that day was to challenge the election results. This is because of a number of irregularities and incidents that raised the fear that a lot of people had that a change in results can happen.
You know as well as I do that when we can no longer have a fair election, our country is lost entirely.
Most people who were there were peaceful and there to protest. There were also some other people who came and started riots and damaging things. However, there were some other people in the middle who went inside the Capitol without hurting anything.
The Democrats have lumped everyone into one category and labeled everyone who protested in Washington, D.C. as well as every single Republican in the country as Nazis, terrorists, insurrectionists, and every other derogatory term they can come up with.
So it was a little surprising when Sen. Ted Cruz called what happened on that day a “terrorist attack”, which is a Democrat talking point.
“We are approaching a solemn anniversary this week. And It is an anniversary of a violent terrorist attack on the Capitol where we saw the men and women of law enforcement demonstrate incredible courage, incredible bravery, risk their lives to defend the men and women who serve in this Capitol.”
Tucker Carlson called him out for saying such a thing and seemingly agreeing with the Democrats. Ted Cruz came on and explained what he meant by what he said and admitted that what he was a poor choice of words.

I was ONLY talking about the limited number of people who committed violent assaults on police officers.
For over a decade, I’ve referred to those who violently attack police officers as terrorists. If you assault a cop you should go to jail.

What do you think? Do you believe his explanation? I believe that what he said is a plausible explanation and I do know that he was been one who has stood up to defend President Trump and his supporters and that he did challenge the results on January 20th.
