The left is losing the culture war and they aren’t taking it well.
Recently, woke teachers union boss Randi Weingarten went on MSNBC and has been accused of fabricating a quote from conservative activists Christopher Rufo.
The conservative activist has become a target of Weingarten and the left because he has successfully shed light on what’s going on inside America’s public schools. It was Rufo who successfully advised now Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin to defeat Terry McAuliffe and worked with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to craft the parental rights bill scorned by Disney. Rufo has been at the center of the battle against woke school boards since the pandemic.
On April 25, 2022, Rufo said that Weingarten needed to delete one of her social media posts or he will “wage legal war against” her. The back and forth started two days prior when Weingarten got into a back and forth with Rufo. It got heated and Rufo challenged the teachers union president to turn on her comments so people could tell her what they really think.

Then on April 24, Weingarten attributed this quote to Rufo…

Rufo called her out and posted a video of the speech to show that Randi combined two unrelated lines to claim the conservative said his goal was to “sow and grow” distrust. The speech shows that Rufo said “teachers unions” have created distrust.

Weingarten doubled down and spouted the same talking point on MSNBC.

Rufo then informed Weingarten that he has archived her social media posts and if she doesn’t issue a redaction he’ll see her in court.
