Ukrainians Strike Back At Russia With Video Of Stolen Tank – Soldiers Claim They Went Out Joy-Riding
What’s Happening:
The Russian invasion of Ukraine doesn’t seem to be going as Putin planned. Make no mistake, Putin’s egregious, unprovoked, and cruel attack has resulted in loss of life, destruction, and one million refugees. But the Ukrainian people are stubbornly hanging on. Their president refuses to flee and is arming everyday citizens.
The people are fighting back, even to the point of confounding and delaying Russian forces. One story has come out that shows just how tenacious the Ukrainian people are. According to a video going around on Twitter, a group of Ukrainian managed to steal a Russian tank. And they went joyriding in it.
From Daily Caller:
In a video tweeted by the Barstool Sports podcast “Zero Blog Thirty,” a group of Ukrainian men were allegedly riding around in a Russian tank after somehow getting their hands on it.
From Twitter:
Ukrainians took over a Russian tank, learned how to use it, and now just need some orange mocha frappuccinos to really have a party

According to a video going viral, a group of Ukrainian men stole a Russian tank and was driving it around. They apparently were not only able to get it away from Russian soldiers but figured out how to drive it. This was certainly not something Russian forces were expecting and it is humiliating to Putin and his plans to take over the country.
Word continues to reach the West of how Putin’s forces roll across Ukraine. He is bombing major cities, turning buildings into rubble. Ukrainian families have been forced to flee, seeking refuge in nearby nations. But many have remained behind to fight, unwilling to let Putin walk all over them.
Reports have come out that regular folks have been able to confuse and slow Russian forces’ progress. The president of Ukraine has been in the streets with citizens, urging them to continue to fight. Support has come from allied nations in the form of tanks and weapons, but much more needs to be done before we see Ukraine free from its invaders.
Talks have been going on between Ukraine and Russia—but it’s unclear if they can come to terms. Russia at the very least would want the two separatist regions to be declared independent of Ukraine (and subservient to Russia). But I doubt Ukraine is willing to comply. Hopefully, something can be brokered to end this fighting.
Key Takeaways:
- A viral video shows Ukrainian men joyriding in a Russian tank.
- The men allegedly stole the tank and learned how to drive it.
- Russia continues to invade Ukraine, but regular citizens are fighting back.
