UFC Fighter Israel Adesanya Takes Up Defense Of Joe Rogan

Joe Rogan, the host of the popular and more recently controversial podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience,” posted to his Instagram over the weekend in order to highlight a clip of UFC fighter Israel Adesanya standing up in a strong defense of Rogan in the wake of the host being targeted by leftist cancel culture and an intense censorship campaign.

“Much love and respect to the great and powerful @stylebender,” stated Rogan in a caption over the clip of the fighter, and tagging the fighter in the post.

The video clip is of Adesanya taking part in a pre-fight presser this past Thursday where he answered a question from the media that was aimed at UFC President Dana White about the supposed “controversy” around ROgan that was taking place.

“Hold up,” Adesanya stated to the presser. “I’m black. I can take this one.”

“Look, there’s a lot of c***s in this game,” he exclaimed to the reporter. “There are a lot of snakes in this game. I’ve been in this fight game since 2008. Joe Rogan is one of the nicest, coolest, humble motherf***ers I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Understand that.”

“F*** the noise,” Adesanya continued. “You know what they’re trying to do. You can’t control the man. He’s got the biggest platform in the world right now. That’s my n**** Joe Rogan.”

Last weekend, Rogan took the chance to talk about an out-of-context and misleading video compilation of the host quoting the N-Word and talking about the word in general.

“There’s been a lot of s*** from the old episodes of the podcast that I wish I hadn’t said, or had said differently. This is my take on the worst of it,” stated Rogan in a caption under a video posted to Instagram.

“I never used it to be racist, because I’m not racist,” explained the wildly successful podcast host in the video. “But whenever you’re in a situation where you have to say, ‘I’m not racist,’ you f***ed up. And I clearly have f***ed up.”

“Hopefully some of you will accept this and understand where I’m coming from,” concluded Rogan. “My apologies and much love — my sincere, deepest apologies.”

The attempts to have Joe Rogan canceled have been slowly picking up steam over the past few weeks. Before these recent attacks attempting to call him a sexist racist, many left-wing celebrities and figureheads attempted to force Spotify to take down “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast by stating that it was allegedly spearing “misinformation” about COVID-19.

“The podcast has been accused of spreading ‘dangerous misinformation,” stated Rogan in another video on Instagram this past Sunday. “The problem I have with the term ‘misinformation,’ especially today, is that many of the things that we thought of as ‘misinformation’ just a short while ago are now accepted as fact.”
