The woke mob never saw this one coming, just a week ago they thought they’d won.
But now that the dust is settling the woke mob is realizing that they’ve lost…again!
It has been reported that the Twitter board is going to accept Elon Musk’s offer after the woke Twitter mob thought they had killed the deal.
Recently, billionaire Elon Musk made an offer to take Twitter private causing the left to freak out. In response, Twitter’s board (who owns an incredibly small portion of the company) rejected the offer and filed a “poison pill” strategy. Shareholders were furious that they wouldn’t be able to vote on the matter and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was getting ready to file a suit to protect shareholders in his state.
The woke mob celebrated the poison pill announcement but when the dust settled, Elon announced he had the cash, and legal reality settled in forcing the board to change their mind.
Part of the reason the board changed its mind is that the company’s quarterly earnings report was going public at the end of April 2022 and the company’s value is down. Elon’s offer was well above the market value which would make the board liable for A LOT of money when the lawsuits started.
Based on how the board reacted to the offer it is believed that shareholders were going to wait for the earnings report – knowing it was bad – and then go after the board.
