The FBI Just Raided A Testing Facility – They Are Accused Of $124 Million Coverup, Falsifying Results
What’s Happening:
Since the onset of the 2020 crisis, the U.S. government has shelled out trillions of dollars. Most of this money was supposed to help Americans deal with lockdowns, infections, and other related problems. Yet, time and again, we learn about people who took the money and ran. And this seems to be one of those times.
Biden has been accused of failing to provide adequate testing. While Trump moved heaven and earth to secure resources, Biden seems to be sleeping on the job. Now, we know a part of why he’s been failing. The FBI just raided a testing facility. The owners are accused of taking $124 million and spending it on themselves.
From The Hill:
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on Saturday searched the Illinois headquarters of a national COVID-19 testing company that is under federal and state investigation…
The test company, known as the Center for COVID Control, has received over $124 million from the federal government as reimbursement for COVID-19 testing…
But Akbar Syed, 35, and his wife, Aleya Siyaj, 29, who run the Center for COVID Control, have drawn attention by posting photos and videos on social media showcasing their wealth, including images of two Lamborghinis, a 2018 Ford GT, a Ferrari Enzo and a new $1.36 million mansion, per USA Today.
Gee, I wonder why Americans can’t find a test, these days? Maybe it’s because Biden is shelling out millions on crooked companies? The FBI raided a company based in Illinois that at one time was supposedly running 300 testing sites in 26 states. But now, it seems the $124 million given to it by the government wasn’t entirely going to testing.
In a trend that keeps repeating itself since 2020, the owners of this company could be profiting off of the crisis. It came to the attention to state and federal law enforcement that these business owners, who were given big bucks to help save lives, were showing off lavish purchases on social media.
They showed of several high-end, expensive cars as well as a new $1.36 million mansion. Give me a break. I’m sure they were making more money than usual during this situation, but this seems to go beyond the pale. And apparently, I’m not the only person to think so.
It seems the FBI is very concerned over whether or not these people were taking money meant for testing. On top of that, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services said the lab had multiple “deficiencies”—which could mean something isn’t right about the actual services they provided.
It’s despicable to think that there were people exploiting the crisis to get rich. But these two aren’t the only ones. And they certainly won’t be the last to get caught.
Key Takeaways:
- The FBI raided a testing facility in Illinois, which received $124 million from the U.S.
- Social media revealed the owners of the company spent money on lavish cars and a house.
- The CMMS also believes the lab produced “deficiencies” in their testing.
