It’s hard to believe that anyone once thought Joe Biden would be a good president. After only one year, his policies have resulted in a cascade of crises that are hurting nearly every American.
On top of that, his recent behavior has caused many to wonder about his mental health (again). And he may have contributed to a brewing war in Europe.
It shouldn’t be a shock, then, to see his disapproval going to new highs.

According to new polls from Pew Research, Gallup, NBC News, and Harvard/CAPS, President Joe Biden’s disapproval rating has risen steadily over his first year in office. In each poll, at least 53% of the country “disapproved” of the overall job the 46th president is doing. All three polls were taken within the last month.
Rasmussen’s poll reveals Biden’s disapproval has reached a new high. From Rasmussen Reports:
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll… for Wednesday shows that 39% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Biden’s job performance. Sixty percent (60%) disapprove.
On top of that, a new generic poll has Biden losing to a Republican. From Daily Caller:
Biden currently trails by a margin of 46% to 37% when respondents were asked if they prefer him or a “generic Republican” in a hypothetical 2024 presidential matchup, according to the poll. But when polled against leading Republicans former President Donald Trump, former Vice President Mike Pence, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Biden beats each of them head-to-head.
Biden’s disapproval is reaching new highs, even in major liberal media polls. In three major polls, his disapproval is around 53%. In Rasmussen’s daily poll, it has hit a record 60%. That has resulted in a new poll that shows Americans would prefer a “generic Republican” over Biden, 46% to 37%.
There is no other way to slice it, the Biden administration is a lost cause. And the only person he can blame is himself. Perhaps, he can blame the people actually making the decisions for him. But he is the face of this administration. And if he showed just a shred of leadership, his numbers would be reversed.
One thing to note is the oddity of the Morning Consult/Politico poll when it comes to specific matchups between Joe and Republican candidates. He is losing by a wide margin to a “generic Republican.” Yet he is beating the likes of Pence, Trump, and DeSantis? Something sounds fishy about that.
But even if Morning Consult is trying to paper over Biden’s mess, they are doing a poor job of it. Americans are giving Biden a failing grade on every issue. His administration does not seem to know what it is doing. Once again, we are forced to watch as his State Department rolls over for an enemy, possibly leaving Americans stranded in a foreign land.
Do they really think Americans are going to flock to Joe’s side, regardless of who’s running against him?
