More than a year later, and we still have people being held at D.C. Gitmo for matters as simple as walking into the Capitol building and taking selfies.
Supposedly, they all broke the law to some extent, but that’s highly suspect. If they really did and they know what they did, then why have they not all gone to court yet? The sad thing about this is that while the government can lose these cases against individuals, it’s no skin off of their backs because they can afford to take a loss and pay out for being wrong. After all, it’s your money, not theirs.
Well, what about this law:
“Whoever, with the intent of interfering with , obstructing, or impeding the administration of justice, or with the intent of influencing any judge, juror, witness, or court officer, in the discharge of his duty, pickets or parades in or near a building housing a court of the United States, or in or near a building or residence occupied or used by such judge, juror, witness, or court officer, or with such intent uses any sound-truck or similar device or resorts to any other demonstration in or near any such building or residence, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.”

That sounds a lot like what is currently happening in front of Justice Alito and Justice Kavanaugh’s homes right now. But is it to influence them to make a decision that is other than what was revealed in this leaked opinion? Yep. 100%. That’s what the signs say. What else are they protesting and picketing about if not that? There is no other reason.
This is worthy of arrest. If they were so ready and willing to arrest people who went into the Capitol on January 6, 2021, then they should be just as prepared to arrest these people who are outside of the residences of the Supreme Court justices.
