Police Say The Shooter Fled
Authorities say the gunman fled after the shooting and later struck another vehicle on Pearl Drive. Investigators then tracked down a car they believed was connected to the case and questioned a person of interest near Freddy’s on North Green River Road. The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office has said the shooting happened just before 7 p.m., and the victim’s vehicle ended up in the woods beside the theater. Three Suspects Face Murder Charges
Police arrested and charged 19-year-old Kardae Langley, 19-year-old Deshawndre Brown, and 18-year-old Pierce Butler in connection with the killing. The coroner’s office confirmed Stenftenagel’s identity and said he died from injuries sustained in the shooting. The case is still under investigation, but the main facts are already clear enough: one young man is dead, three young men are accused of murder, and a public parking lot became a crime scene.
