Lara Trump of Fox News bemoaned the fact that Dollar Tree has upped its costs from $1 to $1.25 due to inflation and supply chain concerns. She went on to say that she shopped there, which is an intriguing allegation given her husband’s $300 million personal fortune.
“Any parent knows that the best place to go for decorations for a child’s birthday is the Dollar Tree,” according to the host. Lara and her husband Eric Trump have two young children, both under the age of five.

Lara added that all parents want to keep their children occupied for as long as possible for the least amount of money possible, and Dollar Tree is “a favorite of so many parents across America.”
“Multiple homes, celebrity personal trainer, workouts in a gym overlooking Central Park,” a profile on Lara Trump shares.

She had previously been assailed in a “privilege” moment when she told government workers that they should be proud of their effort during the longest government shutdown in history, which occurred from 2018 to 2019, under her father-in-laws’ leadership.
“Lara Trump faced an onslaught of accusations Wednesday that she’s a rich, privileged, out-of-touch socialite — a Marie Antoinette for 2019 America — after she made comments that seemed to downplay the plight of 800,000 federal workers who are not getting paychecks during the government shutdown,” said the Mercury News.

“During the week, Eric and Lara Trump reportedly are ‘in town,’ living in a three-bedroom, ‘white-glove condominium in Trump Parc East that Eric purchased in 2007 for $2,036,500,” said the report, citing Business Insider. “Units in the complex, ‘nestled at the entrance of Central Park,’ boast spectacular views, concierge service, high ceilings, and woodburning fireplaces. ‘Everything is at your fingertips in one of New York’s exclusive buildings,’ the building advertises.”
Just last week, Trump claimed that the rise in turkey prices was due to a liberal anti-Thanksgiving campaign.

Trump made headlines recently after she was “offended” by the changes to Marvel’s “Superman.”
Superman’s extraterrestrial persona has been left in the dust as superheroes have evolved beyond the white, male, cis-gender, heterosexual identity.

DC Comics hasn’t stated whether the move was made for marketing reasons or to appeal to a wider audience, however, it has caused many on the right to lose trust in comic books they may or may not have ever read.
Comics, in general, have a much more liberal view of the world, which has drawn a readership that is concerned with what is “right” and “good,” rather than political views or popular culture. Captain America would have likely released Communists in Vietnam during the war, according to Marvel.

DC aired an animated series in March 2020 that depicted how different Superman might have been as a boy if his alien ship had landed in the former Soviet Union instead of Smallville, Kansas.
Conservatives were outraged only a few weeks ago when Superman’s son, Jon Kent, came out as bisexual and fell for reporter Jay Nakamura. Kent not only came out, but he also rescued hundreds of people from a falling building and took part in a rally for refugees from a corrupt Gamorra. Kent has previously assisted in the rescue of victims in Gamorra. Many of those who feel drawn to the United States from Central America can relate to the refugee tale.

The “American way” has also been omitted from the upcoming Superman film’s slogan of “truth, justice, and the American way.” It’s possible that the slogan was removed to appeal to a readership outside of America.
Lara Trump didn’t say whether she’d ever read a Superman comic book or if she reads Superman’s son’s new exploits.
