In the wake of a judge for juvenile court issuing a ruling to place the now 15-year-old boy from Loudoun County, Virginia, who was arrested for sexually assaulting a least two students in different high schools, on the sex offenders list, the ruling has been revoked.
“This court made an error in my initial ruling,” stated Pamela Brooks, a Loudoun County Judge, while issuing an announcement about her decision. “The court is not vain enough to think it’s perfect, but I want to get it right.”
The 15-year-old boy, who we still will not name at this time due to his age, was found guilty on both counts of sodomy in relation to the incident that took place back on the 28th of May, 2021, at Stone Bridge High School as well as another incident that took place at Broad Run High School on the 6th of October. There, also, was another incident of alleged assault, but the boy was not found guilty in that case. He is currently on heavily supervise probation until he reaches his 18th birthday at a locked juvenile treatment location.
Brooks issued another ruling that would take the boy’s name off of the sex offender registry as part of another hearing that took place Thursday. Commonwealth Attorney Buta Biberaj, who had stated previously that the boy was released from jail for having no previous “history” of assault, put forth the argument that placing the boy on the registry was needed for the community’s safety and wellbeing. Biberaj was elected into office back in 2019 after getting $850,000 from one political action committee that was funded by left-wing billionaire Geroge Soros.
“I can’t rest on it being immaturity,” stated Biberaj as part of talks concerning the boy’s status as a minor, going on to request that he stay on the sex offender registry until at least the age of 30.
The legal counsel for the boy, William Mann, Jonathan Moore, and Caleb Kershner — who sits on the  Loudoun County Board of Supervisors — hung their hat on the idea that the boy himself was also a victim. Kershner stated that he is the center of “a national media outcry” and that this was the reason for such a high level of scrutiny.
“We are setting him up for failure,” stated Kershner as part of his closing remarks. “We’ve never concentrated on [the boy] — we’re not even giving this young man a chance.” The member of the board also went on to state that the 15-year-old boy had been “cheated” by the “failure of the system.”
The father of the rape victim from the Stone Bridge High School incident, Scott Smith, thinks it is his family that has been cheated by the system. He put forth a statement in the wake of getting the news talking about how he and his family are “heartbroken” and “mad at how the justice system and the Loudoun County Commonwealth’s attorney has let down [his] daughter, as well as the other victims of his predatory actions.”
“The person who committed these horrible crimes against these three young women will not have to bear the shame at being known as a lifetime registered sex offender, as he was originally sentenced,” exclaimed Smith. “Rather, we are now concerned more than ever that this change in his legal status may put other parents’ daughters at risk of harm in the future.”

The newly seated attorney general in Virginia, Jason Miyares, has gone on to state that he and his office plans to launch an investigation into the district after the school board allegedly tried to cover up the incidents while trying to strongarm approval for transgender bathrooms policies in schools.
