As Trudeau uses unprecedented powers to break up the Freedom Convoy Biden is preparing to turn DC back into a fortress before his State of The Union Speech.
The New York Post has confirmed a Fox News report citing that Capital Police will reinstall a fence around the Capital in response to a US truck convoy that will be moving through the country and end in the DC area.
“The United States Capitol Police and the United States Secret Service have been closely working together to plan for the upcoming State of the Union,” The United States Capitol Police said in a press release.
However, this is just an excuse for the Biden administration to turn DC into a fortress again because the itinerary shows that the convoy has no plans on entering DC proper and will be in Missouri during Biden’s State of The Union speech.
The official press release states, “The People’s Convoy will abide by agreements with local authorities, and terminate in the vicinity of the DC area, but will NOT be going into DC proper.”
The Capitol Police announced they will “facilitate lawful First Amendment activity.”
I’m sorry I thought the Constitution facilitates lawful First Amendment activity.
They are even calling in the National Guard…

“Law enforcement agencies across the National Capital Region are aware of plans for a series of truck convoys arriving in Washington, DC around the time of the State of the Union. As with any demonstration, the USCP will facilitate lawful First Amendment activity. The USCP is closely coordinating with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies, including DC’s Metropolitan Police Department, the United States Park Police, the United States Secret Service and other allied agencies to include the DC National Guard.”
Imagine the optics, Joe who’s approval rating is somewhere in the upper 30s is going to give a speech about how great he is and what he’s going to do for the country behind a wall of steel.
