Nina Jankowicz has a marvelous voice. Her TikTok rendition of the beloved Mary Poppins is tremendous. No one can argue that. However, being a talented singer and having an adeptness at going viral on TikTok does not make someone an information expert.
Nina Jankowicz is not. Regardless of her status as a “misinformation specialist” at the Wilson Center, she is ill-equipped to act as some kind of national disinformation czar. Nevertheless, that’s exactly what she is about to become.
Jankowicz’s ability to sing like Julie Andrews is endearing. Good for her. But when considering her resume for a government position designed to target so-called “disinformation,” her stance on or spread of such should prove tantamount to being qualified to hold such a job.
There are more problems with Jankowicz than just a bad parody of a famous Mary Poppins’ tune. The woman being hailed as the “disinfo czar” insisted that Hunter Biden’s “laptop from hell” was a calculated product of Russian collusion, or at best, disinformation. It was not.
Longtime GOP strategist Karl Rove told FOX News how he felt about this new board and the appointment of Jankowicz to run it. “If you want to put somebody in charge of this, you better have somebody who is not known for being the Mary Poppins TikTok lookalike.”
Rove went on to insist that if even necessary, this board should appoint someone who is “actually a substantive, thoughtful person who can give the American people confidence. This woman has no ability to do that, none at all.”
Other political strategists like RealClearPolitics co-founder Tom Bevan, initially thought it was all a joke. Rudy Giuliani slammed Jankowicz as the “whack a doodle Biden put in charge of the Ministry of Truth.”
All White House parrot Jen Psaki could muster was “she has extensive qualifications.” As what, a Mary Poppins stunt double? There’s more to this radical new government board. It’s an obvious retaliation to them losing their stranglehold on the narrative.
The Democrat Party is crumbling. The party is no longer the political party of the American worker, if it truly ever was. They have abandoned the moderate and independent voter. They’re losing minority voters in record numbers. Democrats now represent the corporate elite.
Radical progressive policies no longer appeal to the people, but they now control the dialogue. The radically progressive faction of liberals now controls the corporate boardrooms, Silicon Valley, and America’s K-12 educational institutions.
Liberals have long used their influence at America’s colleges and universities to manipulate young minds. Now, they’re attempting to establish government agencies designed to censor free speech. It is part of a concerted effort to control what Americans think and say.
The Disinformation Governance Board is a dangerous step towards an Orwellian-like “Ministry of Truth”. It is a response borne out of fear. Liberals are watching their control of American society crumble. The creation of this board is unnecessary and unwarranted.
Furthermore, it is unconstitutional. Liberals are panicking. The more they panic, the more they expose themselves. We are watching the death of neoliberalism. Thankfully, America may be watching the slow decay of the most corrosive element in its democracy, radical progressivism.
