AOC’s Republican Rival Just Landed Lots Of “Blue” Support – Cuellar Is Demanding Capital Punishment For Police Murders

Many commentators are predicting a red wave that will sweep Republicans into power this November. Thanks to Joe Biden’s failed policies, voters will come out of the woodwork to reject the left’s agenda. In many swing districts, we might see many Democrats voted out of office.

But what about in deep-blue districts? What about the AOCs of the country, who exploit voters in big cities to stay in power? AOC is facing a tough challenger in the form of Desi Cuellar, an Army National guardsman and descendant of Cuban refugees. And his plan could win over anyone who supports the NYPD.

And this year follows 2021, which was the “deadliest year for law enforcement officers in history,” according to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.

As AOC calls for more police defunding, as well as radical changes that give criminals the upper hand, her Republican challenger is calling for the death penalty for those who kill cops. Desi Cuellar is the descendant of people who fled Cuba under Castro’s socialist regime. Like many other Cuban-Americans, he is opposed to Democrats trying to force similar measures onto the public.

His stance is in stark contrast with many on the left. Democrats in Congress and around the country have been lobbying for radical changes that put Americans in danger.

They frequently slander police officers, the very men and women who risk their lives to protect us. Not only has that resulted in laws that slashed PD budgets, but it has branded all cops (even in good cities) as villains in the eyes of many.

It remains to be seen if Cuellar’s strong stance will resonate in his New York district. AOC won her seat in 2018 by promising to abolish ICE. But in the wake of recent cop slayings in New York, it’s possible more voters are growing discontent with AOC’s radical stances.

They might want a representative that will champion law and order—and defend cops.
