After Lindsey Graham Convinces Trump To Cancel Conference – Donald Instead Plans To Speak At Major Rally

What’s Happening:

This week marks a year since the events of January 6, 2021. Nancy Pelosi and her henchmen have spent the year (not helping Americans, mind you) trying to pin it all on Donald Trump. The 45th president has defended himself, calling her J6 “commission” yet another witch hunt.

In fact, he had reportedly planned on holding a press conference on January 6, 2021, to call out Pelosi and her agenda. The mainstream media would have been invited to his home at Mar-A-Largo. But two days before the event, he called it off. Now, reports are suggesting he was encouraged to do it by top Republican, Lindsey Graham.

From Axios:

Before Donald Trump canceled his planned Jan. 6 press conference, several key allies — including hardline Fox News host Laura Ingraham and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) — made clear they thought it was a bad idea to invite the national media to Mar-a-Lago to mark the deadly riot.

Instead, Trump will reveal key information at his upcoming rally.

From Fox News:

“In light of the total bias and dishonesty of the January 6th Unselect Committee of Democrats, two failed Republicans, and the Fake News Media, I am canceling the January 6th Press Conference at Mar-a-Lago on Thursday, and instead will discuss many of those important topics at my rally on Saturday, January 15th, in Arizona—It will be a big crowd!” Trump said in a statement Tuesday evening.

According to a statement from Donald Trump, he will “discuss” details of the J6 commission and the left’s agenda as his first big rally of the year. Trump had announced this event recently. It will be held in Arizona, a state that played a central role in the drama that was the 2020 Election.

The 45th president has long maintained that the left is using J6 as a means to hide what really happened during the election fallout. We can’t predict what information he will discuss at his rally. But the man known for building suspense promised a “big crowd.”

Trump has become increasingly visible throughout the end of 2021. Liberal-run social networks continue to keep him off their platforms. But the iconic Republican has promised his own social network, called TRUTH, which is slated to be released early this year.

Despite this blackout, Trump has kept in touch with his millions of supporters through press releases, interviews, and appearances at major conservative events. He has also hosted a number of rallies, in support of Republicans fighting for the 2022 midterms. Word is major GOP figures regularly attend meetings at Mar-A-Largo, strategizing for the election.

It appears that any Republican who wants success in future elections continues to seek Trump’s endorsement, advice, and fundraising prowess. But a few seem to be receiving a cold shoulder, namely former allies that turned on him post-2020. What Trump has to say about them, we just might find out soon.

Key Takeaways:

  • Trump canceled a press conference for January 6 at Mar-A-Largo.
  • Lindsey Graham reportedly encouraged him to do so.
  • Instead, he will discuss J6 at his rally in Arizona.
