Iran‘s Revolutionary Guards claimed responsibility for a dozen ballistic missiles that struck Iraq’s northern Kurdish regional capital of Erbil in the early hours of Sunday, Iran‘s state media reported, adding that the attack was against Israeli “strategic centres” in Erbil.
The missiles targeted the U.S. consulate among other sites, according to the Kurdish regional government.
This is pretty unacceptable. Iran could have killed American soldiers and officials. And this is going on just as we are negotiating a new deal with them? Does Iran think they can get away with this? Maybe, since it’s Joe Biden they’re dealing with. Republicans don’t think that’s good enough, so they are demanding Biden do something about this.

Republicans in the Senate told Joe Biden they will not his latest “Nuclear Deal” with Iran. President Trump ended Obama’s deal with Iran and resumed sanctions on the rogue nation. But Biden has been easing sanctions and is close to giving up many concessions to Iran, in this new version of the nuclear deal. But Iran has already proven it is not trustworthy, after bombing our consulate in Iraq.
Forty-nine Senate Republicans told Joe they will not vote to ratify his deal with Iran. They said a deal of this “magnitude” must pass through the halls of Congress. But with so many Republicans standing against it, they might shut it down before it goes into effect. It’s unclear what most Democrats feel about this deal.
