Americans have watched gas prices at the pump soar. The spiking cost of fuel began almost to the day Joe Biden moved into the White House. His bungling policies have stripped away America’s energy independence. It’s been a taxing burden on all Americans.
Now, the U.S. is dependent on other countries for the energy supplies we have right under our feet. One of those countries that benefited from Biden’s U.S. energy decisions was Russia. When Biden severed the Keystone Pipeline, it enabled Vladimir Putin.
Americans watched as the price of gas at the pump climbed. However, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has skyrocketed pump prices to near all-time records. Many envision things getting far worse before they get better.
By opening up U.S. energy capabilities, Joe Biden could ease the burden on Americans and reduce the overall effects of a Russian oil block on the entire world. He refuses. What his refusal might cause is a global energy crisis.
Biden has played right into Russia’s hands. Finally, the Biden administration has agreed to sever oil imports from Russia. It will have an immediate effect on global energy prices. They’re going to go up even more.
Americans must be prepared to pay more for gas than they ever have in history. We could end paying even more. As a ploy, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s administration is making threats.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said, “The surge in prices would be unpredictable. It would be $300 per barrel, if not more.” Novak cautioned, “It is absolutely clear that a rejection of Russian oil would lead to catastrophic consequences for the global market.”
Novak went on to threaten, “So far, we are not taking such a decision. But European politicians, with their statements and accusations against Russia, push us towards that.” The world is threatening to clamp down on Russia’s largest source of revenue.
Many European countries did this week’s ago. According to voices within the Biden White House, the United States will cease Russian oil imports. But his answer to how to offset global shortages is unknown. Now, we must await Putin’s next move.
Will he follow through with his threat? Until the U.S. reopens its wealth of energy reserves, Putin holds all the cards. Putin’s decision to invade Ukraine was a direct result of Joe Biden’s senseless energy policies. Biden has blood on his hands.
Furthermore, it appears his hands are blackening from his atrocious oil policies. However, Biden’s blackened palms won’t be because he tapped into the plentiful U.S. resources. Biden’s going to make our deadliest adversaries richer. If so, he may have more blood on his hands.
