While in the White House, Trump encouraged staffers to feel free to break the law

Former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham said to CNN anchor Jim Acosta on Saturday afternoon that former President Donald Trump actively encouraged his staffers to breach the law as they saw fit because he would cover for them.

Grisham said Trump knew they were breaking the law all along and joked about it while discussing the amount of high-ranking Trump White House workers who have been subpoenaed by the House committee investigating the Jan 6th insurgency.

“I’m very glad that this is happening, and I do hope that it will have, you know, many others who are getting subpoenaed like you said at the beginning, take a step back and realize there are some consequences here,” she began. “However, my prediction is that the former president is going to tell everybody to continue to stall, they’re going to fund-raise off of this. [Steve] Bannon absolutely I think is going to wear this as a badge of honor and martyr himself almost.”

“I want to also say that I think this makes the 2022 elections more vital than ever because I have a feeling, knowing them like I do, he’s going to tell everyone to stall and that if the House is taken over with his rubber stamp candidates that he want to get in, the special committee will then go away,” she warned.

Former White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham could be murdered by supporters of former President Donald Trump, according to White House journalist April Ryan.

After writing her tell-all book on the Trump administration, Grisham “is now toast” with Republicans, according to Ryan.

“And I’m actually concerned for her life now,” Ryan explained. “Because you have people who are die-hard Trumpers, who don’t want any negative word against this president and she puts it all out there, not just about the [former] president but about the then-first lady, and then about the Kushners themselves who thought they were royals in their minds.”

“She is toast politically,” she added. “And you know, she’s living a life with her dogs, her chickens, and her family. She is now someone who needs to watch her back because she told the inner-most secrets that they did not want out. She showed a president that was unhinged, that was abusive in his words, and volatile. She showed an administration that did not have any regard for the American public, but for the perception of the president of the United States at that time.”

Back in October has proposed that Capitol riot investigators look into private conversations with no record in order to properly comprehend a bid by the Justice Department to overturn President Joe Biden’s election victory in 2020.

Grisham appeared on NBC News’ Meet the Press after Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, a Democrat, said a lingering mystery about the DOJ pressure campaign is “who was really behind” the scheme. Grisham is on a media blitz for a new book during which she has emerged as a critic of former President Donald Trump and his administration.
