Kamala, Trump, and Other Attend Ceremony

It’s refreshing to see both sides come together, however briefly, to honor the victims of 9/11.

But after the debate, the left wasted no time declaring Kamala Harris the winner, and that’s where things get interesting. Sure, Trump was fired up, maybe a little too much at times, but let’s be honest—Harris didn’t exactly land any knockouts. In fact, if you’re looking at the polls, Trump has actually gained ground. Even CNN’s own numbers had him ahead in a few, which should tell you something about how that debate really played out.

Now, if you’re thinking, “Well, Twitter’s just an echo chamber for the right,” consider what went down at the 9/11 memorial. Harris, Biden, Schumer, Bloomberg—there they were, paying their respects alongside Trump and J.D. Vance. But while the media would have you believe the Democrats were the stars of the show, the crowd had other ideas. People weren’t cheering for Harris or Biden; they were chanting for Trump. One woman even shouted, “We need you!” Meanwhile, Kamala could only wave awkwardly.

Look, I’m the first to say that a 9/11 memorial is not the place for political rallies. It’s a time for reflection, not for chants. But the fact that it happened at all, and in New York of all places, speaks volumes. It shows that even in a city that leans heavily blue, Trump’s message is still resonating. This is not the optics the Democrats want going into the final stretch before the election.

And when you factor in the economy, inflation, and illegal immigration, it’s clear why people are gravitating back toward Trump. The debate might have been entertaining, but it didn’t do much to change the dynamics. Voters are tired of the current administration’s failures, and Harris hasn’t given them any real reason to think she’s the answer.

She’s been in the national spotlight for years, yet people still don’t have a clear sense of who she is or what she truly stands for. Instead of offering clear solutions, she spent most of the debate attacking Trump and rehashing old talking points.

With November fast approaching, Harris is still facing an uphill battle. The voters’ minds are made up on the key issues, and for many, Trump represents a return to stability. As long as Harris keeps avoiding the tough questions and sticking to vague rhetoric, she’s going to have a tough time convincing anyone otherwise.
