Since then, investigators discovered that there have been no fewer than 16 such fires at food processing plants within the last 180 days. To put this in perspective, we’re not talking about an isolated string of explainable business fires. What’s the probability of this many food plant fires?
We’re talking about an overwhelming number of peculiar fires at facilities entrusted with keeping food on our grocery shelves. Add the bizarre timing of the U.S. supply chain crisis, and Americans are staring down a potentially dangerous situation.
