Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett’s Virginia Home Targeted in Swatting Hoax, No Suspect Identified

There was a time when the Supreme Court stood like a fortress above the political chaos — nine justices, one Constitution, and a shared understanding that this institution was untouchable. If you’re over fifty, you probably remember that time. I do too.

Then the Left decided that if they couldn’t control the Court, they’d burn down its credibility. It started with the vicious smear campaigns against Clarence Thomas. It got worse — much worse — with the circus they made of Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation, dragging the man’s name through the mud on national television with accusations that collapsed under their own weight. And when Amy Coney Barrett had the audacity to accept a nomination while being both conservative and a faithful Catholic mother of seven, they lost what was left of their collective minds.

But smears are one thing. What came next was something far darker.

When a draft of the Dobbs opinion leaked in 2022, the radical Left didn’t just protest. They showed up at justices’ private homes. They screamed outside windows where children were sleeping. And an armed man from California was arrested outside Brett Kavanaugh’s residence — later charged with attempted murder.

And now, on the evening of May 27, 2026, someone placed a call to Fairfax County police claiming there were gunshots at Justice Amy Coney Barrett’s Virginia home. Officers rushed to coordinate with Supreme Court security already stationed at the residence. It was a swatting attack — and it was a complete hoax.

From Fox News, as reported by Breitbart News:

The incident comes amid years of heightened threats against Supreme Court justices, including protests outside conservative justices’ homes after the leaked Dobbs draft opinion in 2022 showing the court was poised to overturn Roe v. Wade, and the arrest near Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s home of a California man who was later charged with attempted murder.

For those unfamiliar, swatting is when someone makes a false emergency call — often reporting a shooting or hostage situation — to trick armed police into storming an unsuspecting person’s home. It’s designed to get people killed. Period.

Not a prank — a pattern

And Barrett wasn’t the first. Not by a long shot. In March 2025, fifteen conservative commentators and journalists were swatted in a single week. Fifteen. In June 2025, FBI Director Kash Patel revealed his own home had been targeted. The FBI estimates hundreds of these calls happen across the country every year.

Rep. Andy Ogles of Tennessee called it “domestic terrorism and attempted murder.” He’s right.

Yet in Barrett’s case, no suspect has been identified. No one arrested. No accountability whatsoever.

Where is the outrage?

Here’s what really gets under my skin. You and I both know that if someone swatted Justice Sotomayor’s home, every cable news anchor in America would be breathless for a week. Congressional Democrats would demand hearings before lunch. The hashtags would write themselves.

But this happened to a conservative justice — so we get crickets.

You want to know what Amy Coney Barrett did the next morning? She went back to the bench. No press conference. No victimhood tour. She sat down and got back to the business of defending the Constitution. That’s the kind of grit this country was built on, and frankly, it’s more than these cowards deserve.

But grit shouldn’t have to be a substitute for protection.

Protect those who protect the Constitution

The marble temple is cracked, and it’s not cracking from the inside. It’s being chipped away by a movement that decided years ago that terrorizing justices was fair game. The liberal loons making these calls are counting on the rest of us to shrug and move on.

Don’t give them that satisfaction. Pay attention. Demand accountability. And never stop defending the people who defend the Constitution.

Key Takeaways

  • Justice Barrett’s home was targeted in a swatting hoax — no suspect has been arrested.
  • Democrats have spent decades escalating smears and threats against conservative justices.
  • Swatting is domestic terrorism designed to get people killed, not a harmless prank.
  • Our Supreme Court justices deserve real protection and real accountability.
