President Biden Creates Major Loophole For Russia – It Looks Like Iran Nuclear Deal Will Create Financial Safe Havens For Them

What’s Happening:

Over the last few weeks, Biden has treated Russia as his own, personal, whipping boy. It seems Biden is trying to pawn all his failures onto Russia—as if his administration only began failing after Russia invaded Ukraine. Biden vowed to punish Russia with sanctions over the war but promised that those sanctions would also hurt the United States for some reason. Biden has continued to beat the drum that all our problems are Putin’s fault and that sanctions are the only means of stopping him.

But, hang on. Russia is also involved in negotiations with Iran. Instead of keeping Iran under our thumb with painful sanctions, Biden is willing to empower this dangerous country with a new deal. A deal that would free them up economically. But Russia is involved in this dealing-making, raising concerns of a conflict of interest. And reports indicate that all of Biden’s “punishment” of Russia over Ukraine will be moot, because they will have “safe havens” in Iran.

A negotiation partner in the Iran Nuclear Deal may be bringing a conflict of interest to the table.

According to reports, Russia is using its role in the Iran deal negotiations to benefit itself. It appears there could be loopholes that allow Russia to avoid sanctions, through “safe havens” in Iran. Some experts have pointed out the conflict of interest in letting Russia participate in these negotiations, while we are at odds with them over Ukraine.

Biden has claimed that those tough sanctions that are hurting us more than Russia are necessary to end the war. But if Russia gets its way, those sanctions will mean nothing because they can continue doing trade via Iran. (And let’s not forget the fact they still do trade with China.)

The State Department is claiming this isn’t true.

From Reuters:

The United States will not sanction Russian participation in nuclear projects in Iran under a revived nuclear deal, but would not allow Russia to use the deal as an “escape hatch” to evade Ukraine-related sanctions, State Department spokesperson Ned Price said on Tuesday.

Biden’s State Department won’t remove Russia from the Iran talks. But they claim that they also won’t let them use loopholes in the deal to avoid our sanctions. Can we really trust them? These are the same people who botched Afghanistan and talks with China. And they appear to be giving Iran far more concession than they should.

It doesn’t seem like Russia is at all worried about Biden.

Key Takeaways:

  • A new report suggests Russia can get around sanctions via Iran.
  • They can create “safe havens” and continue to do trade.
  • The State Department claims they will not allow this to happen.
