Some things that happen in the world of cyberspace are strange. Some other stuff is comical. It can be downright hilarious when the amusing and bizarre cross paths. In the end, one Metro-Detroit criminal probably didn’t think the bizarre twist in his story was terribly funny.
Chozen Terrell-Hannah was a 22-year-old with a knack for creating interesting TikTok videos. His account boasted over 150,000 followers. He was a good dancer and another of the hundreds of TikTok sensations. Terrell-Hannah goes by the handle “ChozenWrld”.
His latest TikTok dance sensation was to a song Pop Smoke. The young, light-skinned black man was artfully decorated with tattoos. One of his trademarks was his white Nike sneakers. Terrell-Hannah’s Nikes also had distinct red accents.

Regardless of his newly dyed purple hair, his shoes were apparently quite unique. So unique, it appears ChozenWrld’s sneakers were enough evidence to get him busted for armed robbery. Evidently, his light complexion initially fooled investigators trying to solve a series of robberies.
Authorities had Terrell-Hannah as a suspect, but apparently couldn’t nail him down definitively. That is, until his trademark white Nikes gave him away. When authorities raided Terrell-Hannah’s home, they found weapons used in the robberies, plus a full-body skeleton suit.
However, the skeleton suit might not have been the strongest evidence uncovered. Neatly tucked away in his bedroom was a pair of white Nike sneakers with a distinctive red swoosh.
It appears the Mr. Terrell-Hannah’s shoes got him busted. He could face up to 20 years if convicted. Sneaker enthusiasts will claim it’s “all about the shoes, man”. Well, for the Detroit police trying to nail down an elusive armed robber, it certainly is.
Just a word of advice for criminals; check your fancy wardrobe before you set out on your crooked schemes. But if someone’s a criminal, they’re probably not smart enough to grasp that concept. One Metro Detroit crook wasn’t.
